C7 Corvette RevoZport Shakedown: First Taste of a Monster in the Making

The RevoZport team has just wrapped up one of the most exciting weeks this year — and it happened at Autobahn Country Club South, just days before SEMA. After a full week of late nights, fast food, and coffee-powered thrashing, our first full C7 Corvette Aero Kit prototype was ready for its debut.

This was the first install of the complete kit, and honestly, it went nearly flawlessly. No drama, no mysteries — just perfect fitment, sleek carbon, and a car that looked like it was born in the wind tunnel. We didn’t even install the mid-splitter section yet — which, by CFD, can add up to another 15% in overall downforce. We’re saving that little party trick for the next round of testing and to keep it safe during cross-country transport to and from SEMA and PRI Show.

A Track Test Worthy of the Hype

Autobahn Country Club South is a technical, momentum-driven circuit, and our driver/owner had never driven there before. No pressure, right? Despite that, the C7 laid down a 1:28.5 lap — smooth, confident, and without ever really pushing the limits. The goal wasn’t to chase lap records this time; we were more focused on data gathering, a quick shake down and gathering media for SEMA and PRI. The fact that it was this quick on a conservative shakedown lap tells us one thing: this kit has serious potential.

Out-of-the-Box Balance

What’s even wilder? Not a single alignment, suspension, or aero adjustment was made. The car rolled out with:

  • Brand-new Penske 8760 coilovers from ANZE Suspension,
  • Resolve Engineering custom drop knuckles, and
  • Our freshly-fitted RevoZport aero package straight from prototype install.

That’s it. No tweaks. No “let’s add a click here or there.” And yet, the balance, feedback, and confidence were exactly where we wanted them — that’s rare for a first-time setup and shocked us as well!

What’s Next

If this is how the car behaves on its very first outing — with no tuning/adjustments, no mid-splitter, and a driver taking it easy — we can’t wait to see what happens when we lean on it. The data looks strong, the aero balance feels planted, and the RevoZport C7 kit might just be the new benchmark for track-ready, bolt-on aero.

Consider this shakedown a teaser of what’s coming. The real show starts once we get this thing back on track after SEMA — full aero, full send.
